Introduction

Dear EVE Online fellows !
We at GIS have decided to introduce this blog giving you some insight into the live and doings of us the one and only famous German Mercenary Corporation.

Much has happened the last few months. Our educational corporation for teaching players how to become a GIS Merc has been closed down and our procedure overworked. Now we have continuous training of all our members by our own experts.

Changes have happened in the leadership of the corp as well. New men emancipated themselves and some of our policies have changed.
GIS has had an enormous growth the last year. What once was a small family of PVP enthusiastic players has become a Mercenary Corporation of respectable size. This change lead to some tensions and we had to adapt to new structures.

With the beginning of the war of The Bastards and The Hellcats against us, where they got quite a good start by being able to kill some more expensive ships of ours, we changed tactics.
Now we have the numbers to field several teams at the same time from small to huge size adapting to the situation. If needed, these teams join together when one of them encounters a valuable target.
Thus our customers can be sure we have several teams attacking enemies we're paid for fighting. For any unexperienced enemy of ours this will reveal as pure horror, because there is no safe place for them except in stations or by staying logged off.
Even for experienced enemies we deliver highly uncomfortable situations. They may be able to grieve some of our less experienced members through expert maneuvers but in the end they'll suffer heavy losses nevertheless and won't be able to proceed with their Business (e.g. Highsec-Harrassment) whilst being at war with us.

GIS is a corporation with short rules and an open philosophy. We take Pilots barely able to fly a T2 Ship (e.g. an Interceptor), T2 fitted Battlecruisers or Battleships up to the fully skilled Titan-Expert in our ranks as long as he shares our ideals and fits into our family.
If you speak german (No need to be native German, though !) and you feel you'd like to become an expert PVP-Player, you're wellcome as long as you can live with and adapt to our rules.

Having said enough about our corporation we will post official announcements as well as some RP Stories about us in this blog.
